I love her calm expression and the cg is just phenominal * u * the piano must've taken quite a while to do but it's ok cuz it came out amazing ^-^ a few things I would critique on this though is the perspective the piano. it looks like it's tilting up, mostly on the left side. and it looks as though it's lying on her lap and not touching the floor. another thing is her left hand. it looks a little awkward to me. I think the index and middle finger are too spaced apart from where they connect. also the bowling pin-looking thingy looks a little flat and not 3D-ish. maybe it's too round on the bottom, that's why o: but other than that, beautiful artwork ; v ;
I haven't watched or read about Aria, but sure I know her character for a bit. To depict her playing a piano is sure a rare sight. Composition wise, you pulled a great one. Like the flow created by the positioning of those note papers and adding several blurred foregrounds. Empty space on the right side draws our eyes to just focus and look at Akari and her piano. Peaceful atmosphere which accompanies well with her overall characteristic well colored as expected from you. Now for the downside, this one's got a messy perspective. The piano, the chair, aria, floor+fence, and the wooden floor on the background, they're all in the different. And as a closing, although this has a great mood, the perspective mistakes really took away most of the impact of this piece.
